I received the Bose X headset and flew with it yesterday. It was perfect in every way for the flight. I appreciate your honest review and your ability to get it back to me so quickly. Folks,
Just a note about excellent service I received on two occasions from Terry Gerber and KC Headsets.
I first sent a headset to Terry to fix a broken yoke. He did just that and returned the set in less than two weeks at a very reasonable price.
The new yoke broke and I called Terry again. He said he thought it was still under warranty. As I had to have it, I went ahead and sent it anyway.
He replaced the yoke, re-conditioned the ear pieces, improved the volume control, restructured the carrying case and shipped them back to me.
All at no cost. I know it was under warranty, but this was service above and beyond.
You can tell when someone enjoys their work. Terry is that type individual. Definitely a guy to keep in mind if you think you need those services.

Terry is an absolute pro.
First, he answered the phone on a Sunday afternoon. Unheard of in most cases nowadays.
Second, he was fair, to the point and honest with his diagnosis and cost estimates on my headset.
After determining he could not obtain the module needed to repair my headset, he returned it to me. A week later he called me to see if I still had it and wanted my headset repaired. He stated that he'd obtained some donor headsets and the module needed was included.
I returned the headset to him and he expedited the repair and returned them to me.
Terry was pleasant to talk to, engaging and had a genuine interest in repairing my headset and obtaining my satisfaction.
Thank you Terry. You are a rare find. I have and will absolutely recommend you for future repair work.

The Zulu3 headset arrived as described (new), on time, well packaged/protected, and in excellent condition.

I haven’t had a chance to test it in the plane yet. But I have a LEMO to dual plug GA adapter (with a 9V battery) here at home. Plugged the repaired headsets into the adapter and it worked instantly. Just as you said, I didn’t even need to push the ANR button to have it turn on. The light blinked and the noise reduction was just as it should be. So thanks very much for the repair. I could not have asked for quicker work, better communications or a more reasonable price. I am a very satisfied customer! I am also a member of the “Cessna Pilots Society” which a very active online forum with hundreds of pilots participating. I will write up posting there and let everyone know what great service you provide.

Thank you very much. I find it rare to deal with someone with character as I see in you. I still believe in a mans word is everything. Thank you sir.  When I get this unit back, I can then take it flying to see if the noise is there. Could not test it today or for the rest of the week due to either TFR or weather. I appreciate you finding this part for the headset. Without it that Lightspeed would be useless.
BTW incredibly trusting in this day/age to ship without getting prior payment. I like it though - reminds me of back in the day when a handshake actually meant something.

Thanks so much for helping me pick out a headset on the phone last week and for your business. I just opened your package and those DC's look brand new!
